The only surprise you will end up getting from it is which one of 2 or 3 of its favourite commanders per faction it has decided to use. Having said that, once you figure out how the AI acts (it really doesn't vary very much) you will come up with a 'system' to beat it regularly. But I can't see that happening in my lifetime. If Relic could actually write some decent AI for a game like this (which is admittedly difficult), that would diminish the need for the AI to 'cheat' and actually mean a comp stomp game would involve both sides actually playing COH2. The big killers are the FOW and the fact the AI has none whatsoever and that human units get nerfed to hell, these are the things keeping the AI in the game for more than a few minutes. It just mass produces what it can and sends them streaming forward piecemeal so it needs a lot because of the casualty rate. The resource cheats for AI though are really not that bad (actually after 1600hrs in game I don't think it even has meaningful manpower income, it just auto produces basic infantry using a cooldown timer with these squads obviously arriving in pairs) because Relic hasn't actually given the AI any meaningful AI. I'm with Paploo10 on this with regard pvp.
